Local Professional Membership
NSBE Professional Membership is open to any individual who has received a degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline. If you are a professional but did not receive a degree in any of the STEM fields, you are still eligible for membership as an NSBE Professional Affiliate member.
Chapter Advisors (Collegiate or NSBE Jr. chapters) who want to join NSBE should join as NSBE Professional or NSBE Professional Affiliate members, depending on background.
Annual dues are only $50!
We will not be able to ship your item to your address.

Graduate Students
Graduate students have the option to be NSBE Professional members OR Collegiate members. We recommend you choose your membership type based on your level of involvement in NSBE. If you do more NSBE interaction on a University campus – Collegiate membership may be right for you.
If instead, you interact more with local professionals or feel like the undergraduate chapter doesn’t fit your needs, we welcome you as an NSBE Professional member and encourage you to join or start your local NSBE Professional Chapter.
Membership Term
The membership term is one year from August 1 – July 31 of the following year.
When you pay for your membership, check the “Auto-renew” box to automatically renew your membership this year. Never be without membership benefits again!
Annual Dues
Annual dues are only $50! There may be additional chapter and regional dues that you have to pay to be considered a fully active member.
If you recently graduated from college (within the past year) and were an active Collegiate Member, you are eligible to have your first year of NSBE Professional dues waived. Email membership@nsbe.org for details and help on making that happen!
If you choose not to be affiliated with a chapter in your local area, you will be considered a “Member-At-Large,” classified by your geographical region. Members “At-Large” receive the same national benefits as those who belong to a chapter.
