We would like to welcome all of the engineering, technology, math, and science students from Louisiana and other affected areas that are new to our school as a result of the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Let us extend NSBE love to our peers as they face the task of getting acclimated to the city of Houston and the University.

Among those that have recently arrived are Region 5 Chair Ashton Harper and Region 5 Treasurer Allen Rochelle, both of whom were in attendance at the chapter meeting yesterday.

Let's all do our best to make them feel welcome in their new surroundings.
