Hosted by the NSBE Houston Professionals, UH NSBE held their third general body meeting where members came out to know the latest on the UH NSBE event itinerary and gain some life lessons from the Houston Professionals.
UH NSBE hosted JE Dunn Construction at UH. NSBE members having an interest in the field came to learn more about the company. In addition, a professor from the Technology Department of UH also came to give some insight on entering into the construction industry.
UH NSBE participated in a fun, academic event hosted by the Black Student Health Association (BSHA) where members competed against other organizations and managed to broaden their horizons while earning a prize!!

Interesting fact: I am trilingual.My goal for this chapter is to foster a stronger relationship between Houston’s black community and UH NSBE that will continue long after we’ve all graduated. I hope to create new community service events that will be cemented as annual functions. |
