The University of Houston Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is providing full hotel accomodation and flight costs for members who have consistent chapter participation and expressed early desire to attend the convention. A limited amount of half-sponsorships will be given to other members. At this time, all slots for National Convention stipends are filled. You may still register for the convention on your own and arrange your own travel and accomodations.

The chapter will be staying at the Drury Inn South, which is roughly 7 miles away from the site of the convention, Greater Columbus Convention Center, the site of the convention.

If you have not already done so, please confirm your travel time with Corrin Williams, Travel Chair, as soon as possible. Travel to the hotel from the airport (and to the airport from the hotel on the way back to Houston) will be provided by a shuttle. NSBE will also have a shuttle bus running between our hotel and the convention site at the following times:

• One (1) bus will run Wednesday – Saturday, 7:00 am - 10:00 am and 5:00pm - 9:00pm
• One (1) bus will run Sunday, 6:30am – 9:30am
