Our chapter has the following distinctions & honors:

• 200 National Website of the Year
• National Program "A Walk for Education" initiated at UH by Kay Babineaux in 2002
• Placed 2nd in Regional Academic Techbowl in 2004
• 2005 Large Regional Chapter of the Year
• 1st Place winner in 2005 Engineering Alumni Association Outreach Competition
